Best Practice: Corporate Sponsors “In-Kind”

Goal: NAWBO Central Illinois has a corporate partner that does in-kind advertising for them which helps the chapter increase awareness about NAWBO and gives media exposure to their members.
 
Implementation: NAWBO Central Illinois has a corporate sponsor and chapter member that does ads for NAWBO meetings and events.  In the past an article has been done on NAWBO, giving information about the organization. The corporate sponsor also writes articles about member businesses and does announcements about what is happening with members via a "what's new" card that is passed out to all members during their meetings. Members have even been highlighted on the front cover of a magazine! 

Results: This corporate sponsor partnership is extremely beneficial. It helps to increase awareness and inform the public about NAWBO. It is also a great recruitment tool since it brings in new members through the ads and member news.
