Best Practice: Corporate Women of Achievement Awards

Goal: Hoping to strengthen their relationship with their Corporate Partners and to improve partner retention, NAWBO Chicago began to give an award to Corporate Women of Achievement.

Implementation: In addition to the awards NAWBO Chicago gives to their Women Business Owners, the Chapter created another award for “Corporate Women of Achievement”. Each Corporate Partner has the opportunity to name a Corporate Woman of Achievement (CWOA) from their firm. The CWOAs are honored at an Annual Corporate Partner Reception and again at the Chapter’s Annual Luncheon. 

Results: This has been a great retention tool for NAWBO Chicago’s Corporate Partners. The sales to their Annual Luncheon have increased as well.
